Greenhouse Gas and Climate Change Management and Related Activities
ISO/TC 207/SC 7
OUR VISION AND MISSION
We aim to standardize the methodologies for managing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to climate change, enabling governments, organizations, and communities to achieve a sustainable, low-carbon future while building resilience to climate impacts.
We develop and maintain comprehensive standards that guide the management, mitigation, and adaptation of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in support of global climate goals. We are dedicated to providing robust frameworks that help organizations and governments measure, report, and reduce GHG emissions, while fostering resilience to the effects of climate change. By recognizing that mitigation and adaptation are interconnected, we aim to advance integrated solutions that address the dual challenges of reducing emissions and enhancing climate resilience, contributing to sustainable development. Through collaboration with stakeholders, we strive to support innovative approaches that drive progress toward a climate-resilient, low-carbon economy.
